QUALIFICATIONS:

• Male
• 25 years old
• Education: any
• Must have at least related experience minimum of 3 years abroad
• Fibreglass / Carbon Fibre Boat Builders
• The Spars are made with Carbon Fibre and Stainless Steel – so we are looking for Tig Welders and also Laminators with Carbon Fibre experience
• Any Laminator with Boat Building experience will also be considered

Skill required Role 1

• Ability to read plans
• Experience mixing and using epoxy resins
• Ability to take instruction
• Awareness of 5S lean manufacturing
• Ability to fit machined parts
• Tig welding capabilities
• Competent with a range on power tools (linisher, drill press, smaller V block presses and portable tools)
• Experience drilling and taping holes in Stainless, alloy and carbon
• Ability to work on part with finish coat without jeopardising finish
• Assembly of sheaves, tangs, hydraulic systems and pipe insulation
• Handling prepreg carbon fibre
• Application of vacuum bags for autoclave cure
• Mould setup and marking out accurately
• Wet laid, vacuum consolidated lay up
• Experience handling foam and nomex core materials

Skill required for Role 2

• Ability to read plans
• Experience mixing and using epoxy resins
• Ability to take instruction
• Awareness of 5S lean manufacturing
• Secondary bonding (wet laid, vacuum consolidated)
• Vacuum bag application
• Fitting composite components (sheave boxes into booms and masts
• Confident using pneumatic and power tools
• Able to use band saw, drill press, bench saw
• Accurately use jigs to rout/drill carbon parts
• Handling prepreg carbon fibre
• Application of vacuum bags for autoclave cure
• Mould setup and marking out accurately
• Wet laid, vacuum consolidated lay up
• Experience handling foam and nomex core materials
