Job Description:
- Welding and fabrication, sheet metal work, electrical wiring, water, hydraulic and pneumatic plumbing.
- Reading and understanding job sheets and drawings.
- Manufacture of truck bodies including but not limited to trays, tippers, vans, curtain siders, water carts, chassis modifications, and all associated parts.
- Candidates can speak and understand English.
- High level of competency in MIG welding – Welding material from 1.6mm to 25mm thickness
- Oxy acetylene cutting.
- Must be able to interpret 2 dimensional drawings, mark out materials and fabricate framework as required.
