BOILERMAKER / FABRICATOR
1. Ability to Perform and pass a 3G/4G Weld test
2. Ability to Understand and read Basic workshop drawings/Weld procedures (i.e. the fab test drawing)

MECHANICAL FITTERS
1. Read & interpret drawings
2. Pump & gearbox strip/overhaul & testing
3. Installation and tolerance of bearings assemblies
4. Construction/assembly of heavy-duty mining or structural steel modules
5. Use of torque equipment
HYDRAULIC FITTERS
1. Hydraulic Fault finding / trouble shooting
2. Understanding & interoperating hydraulic schematics/drawings
3. Identify Valving & components
4. Flow testing & commissioning pumps and power packs
5. Strip down/ overhaul & rest pumps
PAINTER / BLASTERS
1. Good clear communication skills & well spoken
2. Experience with Abrasive Blasting and Coatings application
3. Experience with Profile, Thickness and atmospheric testing tools
4. Understanding of paint mixing techniques, ratios and measurements
5. Have photos of previous lining work completed.
RUBBER LINER / SPLICERS
1. Good clear communication skills & well spoken
2. Experience with Rubber lining both factory & field applications
3. Read drawings and template work for formatting on sheet rubber
4. Experience with fabric belt splicing – Hot & Cold
5. Have photos of previous lining work completed.
CNC MACHINIST
1. Selecting appropriate setup & tooling options
2. Manual machining experience (borer’s, Mills, Drills, lathe)
3. Writing programs (Fanuc & Mazatrol)
4. ability to perform preventative maintenance
5. Understanding drawing tolerances and required surface finishes
6. Previous use of Inventor Cam
7. Read machining symbols and DWGs
8. use measuring instruments- micrometer (ext. and Intern)/ vernier
9. Worked in a jobbing shop.
10. Understand cutting speeds and feeds
11. Can program a CNC and use proving software
FCAW WELDER
1. Minimum plate grade 250
2. Ability to read drawings and complete weld test to Standard of photos (mike to send)
3. Experience with structural welding
4. Must be able to perform 3G & 4G (vertical & Overhead)
